The 10 Most Expensive Cars Sold at the 2016 Monterey Auctions, Day 4

-Following the awards ceremony at the 66th annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Gooding & Company staged the final auction of Monterey Car Week for 2016, just steps away from the concours itself. Gooding sold 43 cars on Sunday, bringing in $52.7 million. The biggest seller was a 1933 Alfa Romeo that rang up at a roof replacement away from $12 million. Notably, a Ferrari was only the fifth-priciest car that Gooding sold in the auction finale, being topped not only by that Alfa but also by a Bugatti, a Maserati, and an Aston Martin. (Ferraris accounted for four of the top 10 sellers from Day 4, seven of the top 10 from Day 3, four from Day 2, and one from Day 1.) These are the top 10 most expensive cars that hammered sold at Gooding on Sunday, as observed by representatives from Hagerty Insurance.-1956 Ferrari 250 GT Boano Coupe-1956 Ferrari 250 GT Boano Coupe-1971 Maserati Ghibli 4.9 SS Spider-1971 Maserati Ghibli 4.9 SS Spider-1960 Ferrari 250 GT Series II Cabriolet-1960 Ferrari 250 GT Series II Cabriolet-1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental Berline-1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental Berline-1985 Ferrari 288 GTO-1985 Ferrari 288 GTO-1968 Ferrari 330 GTS-1968 Ferrari 330 GTS-1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 Bertone Spyder-1954 Aston Martin DB2/4 Bertone Spyder-1957 Maserati A6G/54 Spider-1957 Maserati A6G/54 Spider-1932 Bugatti Type 55 Roadster-1932 Bugatti Type 55 Roadster-1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza-1933 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Monza--
