Porsche’s Exclusive program is once again applying its magic touch, this time to a limited-edition 911 Targa 4S. Dubbed the Exclusive Design Edition, the transformable 911 will be limited to approximately 100 cars worldwide, a Porsche spokesperson told us.
-Dipped in a coat of Etna Blue paint—a color Porsche notes was once applied to the 1960–1961 Porsche 356B—the Exclusive Design Edition lives up to its name by being a by-the-books design package. That means this beauty maintains momentum via the Targa 4S’s standard 420-hp 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six. Setting the exterior apart are badges painted in the same blue paint as the exterior body panels, black exhaust tips, and a black rear decklid vent. Meanwhile, the car’s Targa bar, 20-inch RS wheels, and throwback lower door graphics are all rendered in white gold metallic.
- -Inside, the Exclusive Design Edition’s 18-way sports seats, as well as a number of interior touch points—including the HVAC vents—are wrapped in blue cowhide. Marking the car’s extra-special nature are a center-console armrest embossed with the 911 Targa’s distinct silhouette, dashboard lettering that reads “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur”, and Exclusive Design Edition sill plates.

Although Porsche hasn’t released pricing information for the handful of 911 Targa 4S Exclusive Design Editions expected to make their way to our shores, we expect the all-wheel-drive sports car to cost a good $20,000 more than the $123,650 asked for a standard Targa 4S.
